Day 3 - Gennesaret, Capernaum, Jordan River

Awesome people are traveling! Follow the blog! :)

Hello again!

So this was a very interesting day with a lot of plans. But the first thing was getting out of bed! e7beb557-2869-4f28-beeb-780d993f15e6

Once that was completed, we made our way to a boat which we called the Jesus Boat because it was possibly dated back to the time of Jesus. It was actually quite mind-blowing to see a boat that was possibly in Jesus' time! We also explored a shop that had a lot of gifts ;) IMG_7596

We then walked to a Jetty at Gennesaret on the edge of the Sea of Galilee which gave us amazing views! When we arrived, a boat pulled up and unloaded a group of asian tourists and when they hopped off they asked us for selfies. So obviously, being the famous celebrities that we are, we gave in not to disappoint our excited fans.

We then drove our stylish vans to a Monastery in Capernuam and explored. (Just a quick thing; there are cats everywhere and we found some cute ones here!!)

We also walked down bit further to the freezing cold Sea of Galilee where we skimmed some rocks and built rock balancing towers.

After a bit more driving we found a rock (also fountain and a Getty with amazing views) but a rock. This rock we said was definitely the rock that went into Goliath's head - no wonder why he died!

Then comes a very funny bit. We drove to a part in the Jordan River where two parts of the water met. It was a great place for a picnic! b45714af-921c-4a33-964e-3fae400012cb

We then went back to Tiberius for lunch (and found some more cats hehe) and then the boys went home and the girls did some shopping :) IMG_7711

We took a drive to the region of Decapolis to look back over Galilee - IT WAS FREEZING and we stopped at one point and had a look at the Border of Jordan which was unbelievable!

I love reading your updates and seeing what you’re all up to. Sounds very busy and a lot of fun. Must be amazing to walk where Jesus did. It will make reading about those places in the Bible really come alive now!
